3015 · Graph and agent inspection

Chapter 12 · A corpus about particular things

Distinguish retrieval, tool use, scenario evaluation and actual model-weight training.

Opening the fixed anonymous evidence graph…

Why this matters

Knowing what a type of instrument is differs from knowing a particular unit’s evidence and history.

The chapter imagines structured physical-world facts as a corpus; corpus growth must preserve provenance and permission.

Step by step

  1. 01

    Construct an evidence-bounded example

Screen or control: P5 asset and relationship JSON

Why: A useful corpus example should retain the proposition and how it is known.

How: Write a short anonymous context statement with exact addresses, source state and unknown authority. Include a missing-field case rather than silently completing it.

What you should see: One attributed positive example and one uncertainty example.

Verify: Neither is described as measured hardware truth.

  2. 02

    Classify the learning activity

Screen or control: Chapter 12 integration-layer table

Why: Different learning activities need different receipts.

How: Label the example’s use as retrieval, tool input, scenario evaluation or proposed weight-training data. List additional approval and evaluation evidence needed for the latter.

What you should see: An activity classification and gate list.

Verify: No weight update is claimed from reading or generating the example.

What is happening under the surface

A contextual example links exact objects, source assertions and assessment state; it is not automatically a verified fact.

Retrieval reads evidence. A tool performs a scoped operation. Scenario evaluation measures a method. Weight training requires a separate governed training run and evaluation.

Common mistakes

  • Calling all generated sentences verified physical facts.
  • Equating thousands of simulations with adaptive learning without measured feedback.

The records an agent needs

The course teaches structured, source-bound examples. It does not claim a universal verified corpus, immunity to hallucination or completed model-weight training.

Apply what you learned

Design a two-example corpus entry and its evaluation plan.

Prepare these outputs

  • Attributed context example
  • Explicit uncertainty example
  • Intended use and disclosure scope
  • Feedback and evaluation requirements

Review your work against these checks

  • Exact assets are not collapsed into model names
  • Synthetic/source/observed states are labeled
  • Training claims require separate receipts

Check your reasoning

An agent retrieves graph context before answering. Has model-weight training occurred?

This answer stays in page memory, is cleared when you leave, and is not sent or recorded as certification, validation or authority.

Source and current boundaries

Chapter 12 · future vision. Adapted, anonymous teaching prose; not a quotation or independent verification of the author’s assertions.

Source part word/document.xml; original document SHA-256 71e6f7f572534c88a701043b60d5f3f842434a8880c34894eb4fe66177f68d9f. Exact paragraph/table locators are retained; page numbering is not verified.

Corpus scale, verification universality and hallucination-immunity claims are not adopted. Retrieval and scenario learning remain distinct from model-weight training.

Current governance adds exact-source retention, unknown-state, disclosure, validation and scoped-authority safeguards. Those safeguards are not represented as quotations from the historical book.

Numeric lesson numbers are educational content locators, not GS1 identities. Linked public screens use an anonymous non-issued fixture; reading, retrieval and practice do not authorize physical/cloud execution or constitute model-weight training.
